Alfred J. Keinath Jr. (Al)

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 12, 2020; age 90 years. Al was born on November 1, 1929 in Saginaw, MI to the late Alfred and Olga (Liedeke) Keinath. He graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in 1947. Al served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Fay M. Koeplinger on November 24, 1956 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Saginaw; she survives him. He was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth and attended St. Luke Lutheran Church in Harrison during summers. He retired from sales in 1991.

Surviving besides his loving wife Fay of 63 years are 3 precious daughters and their spouses, Lisa (Chris) Norwine of TN, Amy (Rev. Ken) Kelly of PA, and JoAnne (Scott) Noyce of Millington; 8 loving grandchildren Justin (Diana) Brenner, Jenni Denisac, Andrew and Cassandra Brenner, Elizabeth (Nick) Croyle, Alyson and Patrick Kelly, and Ashleigh Noyce; 7 adoring great-grandchildren; 1 brother Dale (Mary) Keinath of Saginaw.

Al was preceded in death by 1 sister Ellen; 1 infant brother Donald, and son-in-law Tom Brenner.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, August 18, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate. Al's family will receive visitors at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Student Aid Fund or St. Luke Lutheran Church in Harrison.
