Alan Feldman

Frankenmuth, MI

Alan Herbert Feldman passed away at home on July 20, 2020 after a battle with cancer at age 76. He was born in Mankato, MN on February 28, 1944 to Herbert and Lila (Griepentrog) Feldman. He graduated from Mankato State with a teaching degree in 1966. Alan married Donna Campau on July 17, 1987. In 2017, he retired as a teacher/coach/athletic director from Bridgeport Spaulding Schools after 50 years. He was an avid sports fan, golfer, and storyteller. He enjoyed road trips with his family. He will be remembered most by loved ones for being their human GPS before taking trips of their own and making sure they had an accurate weather report whenever needed.

Leaving to cherish his memory are his wife, Donna; children Dan Feldman, Denise (Ani) Ferraro, Lori (Dave) Gilbert, and Jim (Jen) Campau; grandchildren Chelsea Barnes, Heather Pollick, Jessica and Jacob Gilbert, Aidan McKendree, and Emma Couto; brother Dean (Vicki) Feldman; sister Ann Hofstad, a niece and many nephews; and various other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

He is predeceased by his parents and his brothers Gary and Dale Feldman.

Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, July 25, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Burial to follow at Pinegrove Cemetery in Bridgeport, MI. Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate. Alan's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth 590 N. Franklin on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (COVID-19 restrictions will apply) and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
