Alice May Rauh

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Covenant Glen; age 87 years. Alice Bierlein was born on March 10, 1935 in Richville, MI to Walter and Matilda Bierlein. She was married to William Rauh at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, Richville on September 29, 1956. He preceded her in death on September 8, 2005. Alice was employed by Frankenmuth Mutual Insurance Company. She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Alice enjoyed her flowers and spending time outdoors in the summer. She also enjoyed hunting and fishing, but her true passion was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her 3 children Arthur Rauh of Sterling Heights, Rhonda (Brian) Schuler, Tracey (Jeff) Schroeder of Frankenmuth; 2 grandchildren Erika (Steve) Marko and Andrea Miller; 5 great grandchildren Makayla, Jadyn, Remi, and Arrow Marko and Boyd Pounders; sister in-law Barbara Bierlein, brother-in-law Harry Veitengruber; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, Alice was preceded in death by brothers Helmuth (Selma) Bierlein, Harvey (Myrtle) Bierlein, Walter (Gladys) Bierlein, Howard (Florence) Bierlein, Edward (Irene) Bierlein, and Roy Bierlein; son-in-law Larry Miller; sisters and brother-in-law Joan Veitengruber and Shirley (Edward) Janke.

Memorial service will take place on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola St. Alice's family will receive visitors at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
