Anita Loesel

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to her heavenly home on Friday, December 30, 2022 at her home; age 99 years. Anita was born on March 17, 1923 in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Adolph and Clara (Schwab) Krauter. She was married to Roland H. Loesel in 1942, they had 73 years of married life; he predeceased her in 2015. Anita worked on her farm most of her life, she was also employed at the Frankenmuth Convalescent for 15 yeas as a care giver. Anita was a lifelong member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Anita and Rollie enjoyed traveling and spending many winters in Port Charlotte, FL. Anita enjoyed doing needlework, gardening, and taking care of her pets.

Surviving are daughter, Janet (Richard) Zuehlke; step grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law Mildred Rogner.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St., Frankenmuth. Rev. Joel C. Kaiser will officiate with burial in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery. Anita's family will receive visitors on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
