Anni Keilhofer

Frankenmuth, MI

Loving mother, wife, and friend breathed her last breath Sunday, September 9, 2018 with family by her side at Covenant Cooper Medical Center after a brief illness; age 82 years.  Anni Weber was born on February 10, 1936 in Selm, Germany to the late Franz and Rosa Weber.  She was married to Georg Keilhofer on February 21, 1958; he predeceased her on December 20, 2000. Anni and Georg immigrated to the United State on June 7, 1967. Together they ran the Frankenmuth Woodcarving Studio for over 25 years. Anni looked forward to her monthly meetings with her German friends for singing and fellowship.

Surviving are: 1 daughter, Christiane (Abdulkadir Yilmaz) Keilhofer of Frankenmuth, MI; a long-time companion Rev. Walter David; and nieces and nephews in Germany.

Anni was preceded in death by 1 sister, Rosa Hiekisch.

Funeral services will take place on Friday, September 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street.  Rev. Walter David will officiate with cremation to follow. Anni's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
