Anthony Kushba "Tony"

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home to be with his Lord Thursday, February 3, 2022, at Covenant Glen; age 90 years.  Anthony was born on March 28, 1931, in Saginaw, MI to the late John and Theresa Kushba. He was married to Theresa Jezowski on May 25, 1957, at St. Stan's in Bay City, she survives him. He worked at CSX Transportation for over 30 years. Tony was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. In Tony's younger years he played Saginaw City League Baseball. Together with his wife Theresa, Tony enjoyed traveling.  He also enjoyed woodworking, especially making birdhouses. He loved roses and his imaginary dog Zip.

Surviving are: his wife Theresa of 64 years; sons Mark Kushba, Timothy (Lou Ann "Patches") Kushba, and Gregory Kushba; grandchildren Amanda (Austin) Jacobs, Alicia Kushba and great- grandchildren Sophia and Tucker Kushba.

Anthony was preceded in death by his brother Edward Kushba and Sister John Therese.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial to follow in Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City, Michigan. Tony's family will receive visitors at church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
