Arlene C. Huber

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home with her Lord Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at her home; age 91 years.  Arlene Schiefer was born on September 22, 1926 in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Walter and Linda Schiefer.   She was married to Edwin Huber; he predeceased her on December 3, 1991.  Arlene was retired from the Vassar Senior Center where she worked as a manager and had also worked at the Frankenmuth Lutheran Home.  She was a member of St. Michael's Lutheran Church in Richville.

Surviving are her children; Marlene (Harry) Keipinger of Millington, MI, Gary (Sharon) Huber of Frankenmuth, MI, Nancy (Bob) Craft of Millington, MI, Betty Huber of Frankenmuth, MI, and Bonnie (Le Roy) of VanAuken of Vassar MI; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, a sister Alma (Rinehold) Hecht and many nieces and nephews.

Arlene was preceded in death by an infant son, and son Roy Huber, a great granddaughter Madison, 2 sisters Alvina Hetzner and Eleanor Trinklein.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, April 23, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 3455 S. Van Buren Road, Richville, Michigan.  Rev. Wesley Gillaspie and Rev. Rob Gadeken will officiate with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.  Arlene's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Michael's Lutheran Church or St. John's Lutheran Hour.
