Arlene Specht

Vassar, MI

Passed away on January 19, 2026 at My Michigan Health Saginaw; age 87 years. Arlene was born on February 10, 1938 to the late Herbert and Caroline Palmreuter. Arlene worked at the Saginaw Fruit Company for years, and at the Halfway Truck Stop. Arlene was married to the late Edward Specht. She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Arlene enjoyed quilting, gardening, bird watching, but most of all she loved her family and especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children Bonnie (Danny) McInerney, Cheryl (Jim) Marth, Lori Nugent (Matt) Schmitzer, Rick (Carol) Reinbold, Eddie (Jennifer) Specht; grandchildren Tim (Rina) Nugent, Jeremy (Nicole) Porath, Heather Fierstine, Lindsey (Brandon) Senauit, Elliana Specht, Sydni Specht, Jagger Lotter, Marcie (Jerry) Nothelfer, Dasha Moore; great grandchildren Tristan and Braiden Nugent, Mason and Adalyn Porath, Lucas and Haven Petrella, Shelby, Samantha, Shayleigh, Skylar Senauit, Dustin and Nicole Nothelfer, Maddie and Cody Moore, Cyril McInerney; brothers Tony Palmreuter, and Gerald Palmreuter.

Funeral Service will take place on Monday, January 26, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Rev. Joel Eden will officiate. Burial to follow in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw. Arlene's family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
