Arline Lenora Weiss

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to her heavenly home on Saturday March 2, 2019 at Wellspring Lutheran Home; age 98 years.  Arline Hegenauer was born on October 8, 1920 in Gera, MI.  She was married to Raymond F. Weiss on February 14, 1942 at Saint Lorenz Lutheran Church.  He predeceased her on February 27, 2006.  Arline was waitress at Fischer Hotel, she worked on the farm and was a machine operator at U.S. Graphite.  She was a member of Saint Lorenz Lutheran Church, and their Altar Guild and Missionary Guild. Arline loved gardening, cooking, baking, dancing, singing and especially spoiling her grandchildren.

Arline is survived by 2 sons: Alan (Sheila) Weiss, Rodney Weiss Frankenmuth, son-in-law; Donald Lindow, 7 grandchildren; Dave (Ann) Lindow, Todd (Jodi) Lindow, Brian (Amanda) Lindow, Brent (Amanda) Weiss, Matthew (Stacy) Weiss, Tyler (Lindsay) Weiss, Spencer Weiss, 12 great-grandchildren; Haley, Michael, Madeline, Kallie, Cole, Charles, Parker Lindow, Cooper, Mason, Megan, Blayke and Caleb Weiss.

Arline was preceded in death by her husband Raymond and 2 children; Connie Lindow and Lyle Weiss, all her siblings, brothers; Wyman (Edna) Hegenauer, Wilmar (Norma) Hegenauer, William (Shirley) Hegenauer, sisters; Marie (Donald) Geyer, Alvina (Walter) Bernthal, brother-in-law; Gilbert (Etta) Weiss and sister-in-law; Anita Rupprecht.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.  Reverend Mark Brandt will officiate with burial between services in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery.  Arline's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
