Arnold G. Palmreuter

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Hoyt Nursing Home and Rehab Center; age 96 years.  Arnold was born on May 31, 1924, in Frankenmuth, MI to the late George and Lena Palmreuter.  He was married to Viola Hochthanner on May 24, 1947; she predeceased him on February 11, 2012.  Arnold was a lifelong farmer on the family farm and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are 4 sons and 1 daughter; Mark A. (Julie) Palmreuter, Gene (Norma) Palmreuter, Gary Palmreuter, Loren (Debra) Palmreuter, and Sharon (Tom) Knoll, 11 grandchildren; Paul (fiancé Samantha Gage) Burback, Eric (Debbie) Palmreuter, Jonathan (Katie) Palmreuter, Lisa (Rev. David) Solum, Andrew Palmreuter, Tara (John) Saleska, Allison (Jake) Kopins, Faith Palmreuter, Hannah Palmreuter, Brandon (Megan) Knoll and Kayla Knoll, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Arnold was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jennifer Burback; a brother Herbert (Caroline) Palmreuter; a sister Martha (Roland) Heinlein; and a brother-in-law Harvey (Marion) Hochthanner.

Due to COVID restrictions private family services will take place.  After November 4 ^th , 2020 those who wish to view the service a recording will be uploaded to St. John's Lutheran Church Frankenmuth Facebook and YouTube pages. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church.
