Passed away after a lengthy illness Monday, November 26, 2018, at her home; age 74 years. Bertha Kralosky was born on April 30, 1944 in Saginaw, MI to the late George and Bertha Kralosky. She was married at St. George Catholic Church in Saginaw MI to Joe Pelon on June 5, 1965; he survives her. Bertha was employed by List Elementary School in many capacities and at the Village Store for a few years. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and active in the Knights of Columbus in Frankenmuth-Birch Run. In addition to spending time with her granddaughter, Bertha loved to bowl and spend time outdoors, especially with her birds.
Surviving besides her husband Joe are: a son Fred (Amber) Pelon of Berthoud, CO; daughters Bonnie Pelon of Rotonda West, FL, Marie (Mark) Kennedy of Milford, MI; a granddaughter Grace Kennedy; sisters Sharon (Jerry) Fairchild, Patricia Zielinski, Linda (George) Barrera; brothers George (Lynn) Kralosky, Tim Kralosky, Mark (Lisa) Kralosky; brother-in-law Royal Burnell.
Bertha was preceded in death by a twin sister Bernice Kralosky and a sister Betty Burnell.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan, with burial in Blessed Trinity Cemetery. Bertha's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a Vigil Service on Friday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus Frankenmuth-Birch Run, or the American Cancer Society.
