Bette Ann Burgess

Birch Run, MI

Passed away at home with family by her side, Friday February 28, 2020 after a lengthy illness with cancer; age 77 years. Bette Ann Taylor was born on January 3, 1943 in Saginaw, MI to the late Clark and Laura Taylor. She was married to Kent Burgess on May 15, 1965; he predeceased her on January 23, 2004. Bette was a member of the Birch Run Moose Lodge and the Clio Eagle's Club. She loved watching her family play sports, especially her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Surviving are: 2 daughters Karrie Burgess of Frankenmuth, MI, Deeann Fuller (Dave Jedrzejczak) of Brown City, MI; 4 grandchildren Allison Fuller, Timothy Ivery, Kourtney Fuller, and Nathaniel Jackson; 2 brothers Robert (Ellen) Taylor, Dale (Lynn) Taylor; 2 sisters Carolyn (Henry) Balzer, Laurie (Michael) Guttowsky; sister-in-law Ginger Taylor; special friend Ralph Grew, and many nieces and nephews.

Bette was preceded in death by an infant daughter Denise Jean; and 1 brother Gary Taylor.

Memorial services will take place on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Rev. Lon Cook will officiate. According to Bette's wishes cremation has taken place. Bette's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Bette's family wish to express their gratitude for the care that Bette received under Southern Care hospice. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Southern Care Hospice of Saginaw or American Cancer Society.
