Passed away Monday, January 5, 2026 at My Michigan Health Center, Saginaw; age 92 years. Betty Lou was born on June 11, 1933 in Detroit, MI to the late Roy and Doris Stoner. She was married to Stan Bozich, he predeceased her on October 7, 2018. Lou was Co-Founder of Michigan Heroes Museum (Michigan's Own Military and Space Museum) in Frankenmuth, MI. Lou and her husband Stan spent most of their later 40 years on their passion at the museum. They were both passionate about their pets. In her personal life, Lou enjoyed playing cards-especially canasta-cherishing the time spent with friends around the table, hosting parties, cooking savory dish entrees and desserts, time spent with her small sized lap dogs – especially Bella and the late Casie.
Surviving is her daughter Connie Gnatek, granddaughters Nicole and Shannon and great grandson Walter, brother-in-law Jon and many close friends.
Besides her parents and her husband Stan, Lou was preceded in death by her son Richard, brother-in-laws Joseph, Eugene and Vince.
Lou's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Saturday, January 17, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 am at which time of service. Burial will follow at White Chapel Cemetery 612 W. Long Lake Rd. Troy, MI. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Michigan Heroes Museum https://www.miheroes.org/.
