Beverly J. Knoll

Went home to be with her Lord Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Wellspring Lutheran Services; age 79 years. Bev Vanek was born on January 24, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Charles Vanek and Emily (Mossner) McDonald. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Eugene "Otis" Knoll in 1964, he predeceased her on November 14, 2020. Bev graduated from Frankenmuth High and Hurley School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse for many years; providing care and compassion to a countless number of patients, family, and friends. She was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and volunteered for several organizations.

Surviving are: her children Douglas (Terri) Knoll and Deanna (Steve) Adler; beloved grandchildren Kyra, Delaney and Cade Knoll and Nicholas, Elise and Molly Adler; sisters and brothers Marcy Conaway, David Nye, Cyndi Keuhn, Brian McDonald, Mary Reinbold, Sharon Vanek, and David Vanek; and sister-in-law Dolores Rodammer.

Besides her husband Eugene, Bev was preceded in death by her daughter Kelly Carey.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola St. with burial to follow in St. Lorenz Cemetery.  Bev's family will receive visitors at church on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or City of Saginaw Rescue Mission.
