Bill Dudewicz
Jr.
May 12, 1955 — Mar 13, 2022
William Dudewicz Jr.
Frankenmuth, MI
William Dudewicz Jr. was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at Covenant Harrison in Saginaw after a brief but fierce battle with cancer. Bill was born on May 12, 1955, to Ruth and William M. Dudewicz Sr. He graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 1973 and continued his education at Ferris State, graduating in 1978 as a registered pharmacist. Bill spent his entire career working as a pharmacist at Borden's Pharmacy in Clio, MI. Bill married the love of his life, Jeanette Gohs, on August 30, 1981, and they were later blessed with three incredible children. He and Jeanette purchased Borden's Pharmacy in 2005 and he spent eight years as the owner. Bill retired in 2013 and spent the rest of his life enjoying his many hobbies: playing guitar, listening to the Beatles, golfing, fishing on his boat, woodworking, playing with Maggie (his beloved dog), grilling, and above all, spending time with his family. A very religious man, Bill was an active member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Vassar, where he previously served as treasurer and was most currently vice president of the congregation.
Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Jeanette; his children Stephanie (Mike) Skinner, Steven (Julia) Dudewicz, and Carrie (Dan) Bacon; and the three people he enjoyed most in his life: his grandchildren Hadley Eleanor, Archer William, and Edison Phillip. He is also survived by sisters Diane (Bill) Shelt, Karen (Mark) Gustafson, and Leigh Dudewicz; brother-in-law Dennis Krafft; brothers-in-law Donald (Bonnie) Gohs and Paul (Gina) Gohs; his favorite and most dear aunt, Patricia Dudewicz; and countless friends.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, sister Sally Krafft, and in-laws Roger and Dolly Gohs.
Memorial service will take place on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 916 W. Huron Ave, Vassar, MI 48768. Pastor Matthew Arnold will officiate. Bill's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or School.
