Bonnie L. Bourdow

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away at home with family by her side, Sunday, October 27, 2019; age 78 years. Bonnie Wellman was born on June 10, 1941 in Saginaw, MI to the late Charles and Marie (Giltrop) Wellman. She was married to Richard E. Bourdow on September 19, 1959 at St. Christopher's Church in Bridgeport, Michigan; he survives her. Bonnie was self employed through Saginaw News at Bourdow's News Service. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, Bonnie enjoyed gardening, playing cards, and wintering in Naples, Florida. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren especially up north.

Surviving besides her husband Richard are: 5 children Dick (Lori) Bourdow of Frankenmuth, Mike (Mary) Bourdow of Frankenmuth, Ann (Steve) Jonas of Saginaw, Carole (Bob) Grzenia of Richville, Steven (Terri) Bourdow of Vassar; 11 grandchildren Ashley (Andrew) Salwey, Nicole (Nathan) Kern, Brandon Jonas, Anthony (Brianna) Bourdow, Amber (CJ) Balley, Chelsea (Brian) Nickol, Nathan Bourdow (Kayla Pully), Monica (Mike) Daniel, Steven Bourdow, Casey Jonas, Dylan Rosa; 8 great- grandchildren; sisters and brothers Jeanette (Doug) Ham, Rosie (Carl) Fritzler, Barb (Jerry) Evans, Marie "Re" ( Dennis) WuerFel, Chuck Wellman, Wayne Wellman, Tom (Leandra) Wellman, Don (Kay) Wellman, Bud Wellman, Gerald Wellman; brother-in-law Jim (Mildred) Bourdow and 28 nieces and nephews.

Bonnie was preceded in death by daughter-in-law Paula Bourdow; sister-in-law Barbara Bourdow; brother and sister-in-law William (Kathy) Bourdow; and sister-in-law Donna Wellman.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 31, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial in Blessed Trinity Cemetery.  Bonnie's family will receive visitors at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
