Brenden S. Helwer

Clio, MI

After a long-fought battle with an enemy called PTSD, passed away unexpectantly on Friday, September 6, 2024; age 30 years. Brenden was born on November 4, 1993 in Saginaw, MI to Robert and Shawn Helwer. He graduated from Frankenmuth High School in 2012 where he was very involved in sports. After high school he honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps until 2016.  He had a passion for riding motorcycles, especially with fellow Marine Corps Brothers, Leathernecks MC. Brenden was a passionate goofball with a quirky, fun sense of humor, who would do anything to help anyone.

Surviving besides his parents Robert and Shawn are one son Cassius; two brothers Robert II (Carly) Helwer, and Cameron Helwer; sister Miriam Helwer; grandparents Gary (Nancy) Helwer, Ralph (Linda) Day, and Suzanne Halsted, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Jim House at Glory House International Ministries Church, 3660 Hermansau Dr, Saginaw, MI, on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.  Family will be receiving those who wish to express their condolences from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial to take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery at a later date.  Considering Brenden's battle with PTSD, those planning to give an expression of sympathy are encouraged to donate in memory of Brenden to: https://www.222none.org/
