Went to be with his Lord Saturday November 2, 2019 at Bavarian Comfort Care; age 80 years. Bruce was born on August 20, 1939 in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Henry and Adeline (Techentien) Faerber. He was married to Marilyn Kroeger on August 18, 1962 at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, she survives him. He worked at Saginaw Steering Gear for 34 years until his retirement on December 31, 1999. Bruce was a lifelong member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Bruce was a part of the first graduating class of Frankenmuth High School. He also belonged to the UAW Local 699, Frankenmuth Conservation Club, Richville Conservation Club and a life member of the NRA. Bruce loved hunting, fishing, and bowled on the Kern Memorial League.
Surviving besides his wife Marilyn are 3 daughters Robin Hutchisson of Birch Run, MI, Valerie (Craig) Alberts of Frankenmuth, MI, Sharon Middleton of Clare, MI; 8 grandchildren Craig (Brianne) Alberts Jr., Michael Hutchisson, Rachel Hutchisson (fiancé Robert), Kody Middleton (fiancé Alicia), Samantha (Michael) Gray, Angelina Middleton (fiancé Anthony), Kayla Middleton and Erin Middleton; 9 great-grandchildren Kane, Kruz, Kole, Alexandria, Leif, Addalie, Kai, Wyatt, and Clara; 1 brother Duane (Margaret Powell) Faerber; 1 sister Janet (Wayne) Savage; 1 step-sister Darlene (Charles) Lindow; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. Rev. Shawn Fenske will officiate with burial between services in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery. Bruce's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the 10:15 a.m. prayer service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Media Ministry or Bruce Faerber Memorial Fund c/o Marilyn Faerber.
