C. Robert Foss "Bob"

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Thursday, January 25, 2018, at St. Mary's of Michigan; age 92 years. Bob was born on June 6, 1925, in Saginaw, MI to the late Calvin and Lillian Foss. He was married to Donna Pomeroy in June of 1946. Bob served in the U.S. Army during WWII and received 3 battle stars.

Bob worked at G.E. Wilson Tire, and Firestone and then owned and operated The Village Store in Frankenmuth. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and a past member of the Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce and the Lion's Club. Bob enjoyed wintering in Florida for many years.

Surviving besides his wife are 1 son; Brian Foss of Saginaw Township, 3 grandchildren; Jason Foss of Madison Heights, Michigan, Alana (Ryan) Leppek of Bay City, Michigan, Eric (Kimberly) Foss of Saginaw Township, Michigan, 6 great grandchildren; Truett, William, Ethan, Evan, Alissa and Aaliyah and 2 sisters in law; Marilyn Sharon and Roberta Mc Kenna.

Bob was preceded in death by 2 sons; Ronnie Allen Foss and Dennis Robert Foss.

Funeral services will take place Monday, January 29, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Genesee, Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Rev. Jeff Luplow will officiate.  Bob's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church.
