Caryn Hodges

Passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness at Chesaning Comfort Care on Thursday, January 19, 2023; age 76 years. Caryn Wellman was born on December 13, 1946 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Herbert and Ruth Wellman. She was married to James Hodges, he survives her. Caryn worked as a beautician at Foxy Lady for many years and was self-employed at other establishments. She was a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church and enjoyed spending summers in Tawas and Caseville.

Surviving besides her husband James are sons Cristyn Hodges and Cory Hodges and daughter Carrie Hodges all of Saginaw; grandchildren Payton, Haylee, and Kaycee Hodges; sister Dianne Damsen; brother Ken (Anne) Wellman.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stephens Catholic Church 1310 Malzahn St. Saginaw, MI 48602. Burial will follow in St. Andrews Cemetery, Saginaw. Caryn's family will receive visitors at Skorupski Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1550 Midland Rd., between State and Gratiot on Tuesday, January 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
