Oct 21, 1960 — Jan 2, 2020
Cindy Kay Knoll
Frankenmuth, MI
Peacefully passed away in the Lord's arms, Thursday January 2, 2020 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loving family; age 59 years. Cindy Ehrlinger was born on October 21, 1960 in Saginaw, MI to Arnold and Luella Ehrlinger. Cindy was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Frankentrost and graduated from Frankenmuth High School. She married the love of her life, Emanuel Knoll on May 12, 1979; he survives her. Cindy was employed by Oscar Rau's for 30+ years and then later at Neighborhood Mortgage Solutions.
Most important in Cindy's life was her un-wavering faith in her Savior, Lord Jesus Christ. She lived her life following her Christian values by loving and caring for others. As a member of St. Lorenz Church, she enjoyed teaching Sunday School for twenty years and serving as a Stephen Minister. Cindy loved spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed Sunday drives with Emanuel in their classic car; camping with friends and family; and cooking and baking for all. Her special love and treasure was her granddaughter, Emmylu.
Surviving besides her beloved husband Emanuel are her cherished children Ryan (Katie) Knoll of Frankenmuth, MI; and Amy (Chad) Buchinger of Richville, MI; granddaughter Emmylu Buchinger; father Arnold Ehrlinger; sisters and brother Lorie (Wayne) Keinath, John Ehrlinger, Tammy Walz, Sherri (Gregg) Wilson and her nieces and nephews. Cindy was preceded in death by her mother, Luella Ehrlinger.
