Clara Marie McIntosh Spero

Born October 2, 1922 to Harold and Edna McIntosh in Taymouth, MI. Clara graduated from Saginaw High School. She married Albert J. Spero July 31, 1941 at Taymouth Presbyterian Church. They shared 65 years of marriage.
Clara's life was centered on serving her God, family and church. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were always in her prayer. Clara was a mentor and prayer warrior in their lives. It was important that her loved ones knew Christ and that their faith would reunite her family in heaven. She started serving as a young teenage girl teaching Sunday school and catechism for over 40 years.
She enjoyed helping with the family farm business and created an antique museum at their centennial farm. Upon retirement, she enjoyed the winter years in Texas and Arizona with her husband, Albert.
Left to celebrate her life are: son, John (Dianne) Spero, daughter, Alice (James) Keene; grandchildren, Jeff (Linda) Spero, Teresa (Ken) Pittman, Alicia Spero, Sean (Heather) Spero, Sarah (Peter) Hudeck, James (Stamatia) Spero, Joseph (Sharon) Spero, Sean Keene; additional blessings 17 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, sister Ivah (Glen) Kerr, brother Harold (Carol) McIntosh.
Clara was preceded in death by son, Herman S. Spero, sisters, Jean Leach, Jessie Whitman, sister-in-law, Marie Bondy, Bernice Lenter, and Esther Gross.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. Burial will take place in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery. Clara's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Samaritan's Purse or St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.
