Clifford E. Ross Jr.

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Friday, August 3, 2018, at Cartwright Hospice in Saginaw, Michigan; age 79 years.  Clifford was born on October 6, 1938 in Midland, MI to the late Clifford and Eleanor (Gibbs) Ross. Cliff was married to Kathryn Bernthal on October 5, 1985; she survives him. Cliff honorably served in the US Marine Corps, he was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth, Michigan. He worked at GM as a millwright for 37 years. He enjoyed being outdoors, boating, photography, camping and helping on the Bavarian Bell. Cliff was a member of the UAW and he also enjoyed solving jigsaw puzzles.

Surviving besides his wife Kathy, are his children; Clifford (Kelly) Ross, Dawn Flint, Robert (Tricia) Ross, Julie Johnston and Daphne Arango, Rachel (Ben) Graham, grandchildren; Susan Rowbottom, Steven Doyen, Justin, Chelsy and McKennah Ross, and Casey, Zack and Zoey Ross, great-grandchildren; Wyatt and Malcolm.

Clifford was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren; Bryce Ross and Bobbi-Anne Ross.

Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, August 12, 2018, 1:30 p.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Rev. Shawn Fenske will officiate.  Cremation has taken place. Clifford's family will receive visitors at the church on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, Frankenmuth Wickson District Library or a charity of donor's choice.
