Connie A. Fisher

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at her home; age 73 years. She is now with her Lord and Savior. Connie Marotzke was born on June 25, 1951 in Bay City, MI to the late Richard Sr. and Vivian Marotzke. Connie graduated from Northwood University with her bachelor's degree. She owned and operated CC's Gatherings for 25 years. Connie was a member of the Lutheran Faith, she had a passion for decorating which came out in her work, but most of all she loved her friends and family.

Surviving are her children Stephanie (Rusty) Waver of Cheboygan, MI, Dawn (Ruben) Salazar of Midland, MI, Rachelle Fisher of Bay City, MI, and Craig Fisher of Westland, MI; grandchildren Brent (Heather) Escareno, Trevor Escareno, Abigail Escareno, Aiden Salazar, Adriana Fisher, Mason Fisher, Amya Fisher, and Kayla Martin; great grandchildren Liam, Aubrey, and Elizabeth; sister and brother Bonnie (Mark) VanVoorhees and Richard (Joann) Marotzke Jr., and her best friend for over 65 years Sharon Bublitz.

According to Connie's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 3-6 pm at Masonic Hall, 2655 N. Center Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Arby's Foundation or a charity of donor's choice.
