Dale E. Klein
Frankenmuth, MI
Dale Edward Klein, 78, of Frankenmuth, Michigan lost his battle with cancer on December 18, 2019. He fell asleep in Jesus and has gone to his heavenly home. Dale was born July 14, 1941, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late Ewald and Virginia Klein. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Bridgeport, and an associate member of St. Jude's by the Sea Lutheran of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Dale was a civil engineer for 45 years and served several cities and townships in the area. He was never one to be idle and spent his retirement traveling, spending time with his grandchildren, and volunteering for both his church and community. Recently, he served at the Christian Service Center in Gulf Shores, Alabama stocking shelves for the food pantry. In the last several years he and his wife Karry enjoyed time on the beach in Gulf Shores, doing what he
loves - fishing.
Dale is survived by his wife Karry of 25 years, sons Mark (Chris) Klein, Craig (Holly) Klein, Sam Klein, and Jim (Krista) Klein, daughter Dawn (Scott) Mueller, and brother-in-law Kenneth Grueber. Dale had twelve grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He is now reunited in heaven with Jeanne, the mother of his children, along with his parents, sister Susan Grueber, and his grandson, Aaron. Dale will be remembered for his strong faith. It was his desire that his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren know Jesus Christ as their Savior, trusting fully in Him for the present and the future, so they can all arrive safely home together.
Funeral services will take place on Monday, December 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Rev. William Hessler will officiate.
