Dale Murlick
Frankenmuth, MI
Dale Murlick of Frankenmuth, Michigan, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great- grandfather went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2024. Dale Jerry Murlick was born on July 11, 1940 in Saginaw, MI, to the late Frank and Regina (Denton) Morlick. He married Sue Gulvas on July 9, 1960. She predeceased him on December 25, 2008. He was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Frankenmuth. Dale worked his entire career at General Motors Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw, Mi, starting out as a millwright and retiring as a general supervisor of maintenance. If he wasn't working on someone's project, he was working on something in his yard or garage. Dale was also a loyal U of M fan and proudly flew the maize and blue flag on game days. He enjoyed attending some of the football games and tailgating over the years with his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Pat and Jerry Hamling.
Surviving are his children: Debbie Murlick of Frankenmuth, Dick and Lisa Murlick of Frankenmuth, Bob and Toni Murlick of Bridgeport, Don and Tammy Murlick of Vassar, Scott Murlick of Clio, and Jodi and Todd Lindow of Perrysburg, OH; nine grandchildren: Ethan (Megan Parviainen) Murlick, Carter (Sarah) Murlick and Abbey (Ian) Fleming; Brad (Kayla) Murlick and Nick (Jessica) Murlick; Reece (Sydney) Sprague; Lindsey Murlick; Haley, Michael and Madeline Lindow; nine great-grandchildren Addie, Colton, Lily, Graham, Ben, Jake, Ellery, Decklan, and Amelia; Dale's sisters and brothers: Joanne Boettcher, Genevieve (Buzz) Bremer, Joyce (Ken) Laatsch, Beverly Nichols, Sharon (Gary) Scharich, Bill (Sharon) Murlick, Terry (Donna) Murlick; sister-in-law Donna Murlick, and special friend Marna Pacanovsky.
