Dallas Haubenstricker

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away peacefully with family by his side Thursday March 23, 2023 at his home after a short battle with cancer; age 64 years. Dallas was born on July 28, 1958 in Saginaw, MI to the late Carl and Lorine Haubenstricker. Dallas married Lisa Bronner on June 2, 1988. He was employed by Dave Hausbeck Trucking as a driver since 1991. Dallas liked repairing lawn mowers and small engines. He also enjoyed fabricating, cart racing at Arthur Raceway, mowing the lawn and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving besides his wife Lisa are five children Corey (Lisa) Haubenstricker of Vassar, Cameé Haubenstricker of Vassar, Houston Haubenstricker of Kyburz, CA, Julia Haubenstricker of Birch Run, Jessica (Kaleb) Wilson of Birch Run; grandchildren Reese Haubenstricker, Hutson and Gannon Wilson; grand puppies Ginny and Jorah; mother-in-law and father-in-law Eddy (Linda) Houghteling; brothers and sisters Eugene (Christine Gugel) Haubenstricker, Luci (Dave Fiant) Wallace, Dennis (Gloria) Haubenstricker, June Kern, Dorothy (Jeff) Buchinger, Bonnie (Dave) Weiss, sister-in-law Anna Haubenstricker, and many nieces and nephews.

Dallas was preceded in death by brother Gary Haubenstricker and brother-in-law Mike Kern.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Rev. Mike Kern will officiate with burial in Birch Run Township Cemetery. Dallas's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
