Delmar M. Feinauer

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Covenant Medical Center Cooper; age 89 years.  Delmar was born on August 9, 1933 in Monitor Township, MI to the late Michael and Helen (Rosebrock) Feinauer. He was married to Beatrice Ortner on August 18, 1956 at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church in Frankenmuth. They were married for 65 years. She predeceased him on October 18, 2021. Delmar was employed at General Motors Grey Iron Foundry for 36 years. In his retirement he loved to farm and took great pride in his yard and beautiful flowers.

Surviving are two daughters: Deb (Art) Hackman and Ronda Bernarding; four grandchildren Brandon Feinauer, Katie and Kelsey Hackman, and Mitchell Bernarding; two great grandchildren Amelia and Casey Feinauer; sister Elaine Pett; and brothers Ron (Linda) Feinauer, Norman Feinauer, and Tom (Becky) Feinauer.

Besides his wife Beatrice, he was predeceased by his son Dennis; his sister Evelyn; and brother-in-law Clarence Pett.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola St. Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate. Entombment will take place at Oakwood Mausoleum. Delmar's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday October 3, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
