Diane L. Palmreuter

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away peacefully with family by her side Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Winter Village of Frankenmuth; age 78 years. Diane Fisher was born on November 12, 1944 in Saginaw, MI to the late Sidney and Wanda Fisher. She graduated from Frankenmuth High School Class of 1962. She was married to Ronald Palmreuter on May 18, 1963 at Faith Lutheran Church in Bridgeport; he survives her.

Diane was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and hosting holiday family gatherings. Her greatest joy was taking care of her children, grandchildren, daycare kids and the neighborhood children.

Surviving besides her husband, Ronald, are three children: Penny (Brian) Maurer of North Wales, PA, Steven (Jodi) Palmreuter of Rockford, MI, and Christopher (Lisa) Palmreuter of Birch Run, MI; grandchildren: Jennifer (Matthew) Quinn, Melissa (Alexander) Kurpinski, Ryan Maurer, Nikole Palmreuter, Jacob Palmreuter, Addison Palmreuter, Kristen (Julio) Lopez, Neil (Maggie) Tiffman, Alison (Caleb) Camero, Cody Palmreuter, and Cadi Palmreuter; and great-grandchildren: Isla Kurpinski and Audrey Quinn.

Besides her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her brother, William Fisher, and her sister, Sharon Chamberlain.

Memorial service will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Cremation has taken place. Diane's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Saturday, November 25th from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.
