Donald R. Baldwin

Frankenmuth, MI; formerly of National City and South Branch, MI

Passed away peacefully with family by his side Sunday, April 28, 2024 at Covenant Cooper; age 87 years.  Don was born on May 28, 1936 in Onsted, MI to the late Clare and Elfrieda Baldwin. He was married to Patricia on May 15, 1954; she survives him.

Don was employed by Ford Motor Company in several capacities, later owning Av-Art of Arizona until his retirement. He was a member of Hale Eagles Club 4217 since 2003. Don enjoyed fishing with his wife Pat. He loved golf and enjoyed life the best he could, but most of all he loved his seven children.

Surviving besides his wife Pat are: Cheryl Guinn of Prescott, MI; Deborah (Larry) Brindley of Flint, MI; Brenda (Bob) Smelewski of Frankenmuth, MI; Janice Davison of Monroe, MI; Corinne Komen of Brookland, MI; Brian (Lorry) Baldwin of Dallas, TX; Kathleen Baldwin of Temprence, MI; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by one grandchild Heather Keith; one great-grandchild Sabrina; two brothers and three sisters.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to I Support the 1% Veterans Food Pantry or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
