Donald W. Smith,

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Friday, January 19, 2018, at Wellspring Lutheran Home of Frankenmuth; age 89 years.  Donald was born on August 31, 1928, in Flint, MI to the late Steve and Minnie Smith.   He was married to Vinda Tynes; she predeceased him in 2014.   He worked for General Motors until his retirement in 1978.

Surviving Donald are: daughter, Minnie (Jim) Kumaus of Frankenmuth, MI; three sons, William Smith of Bay City, MI, Donald R. (Teresa) Smith of Vernon, MI; and Tim (Angie) Smith of Flushing, MI; eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Donald was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Barb Smith.
