Donald M. Woelzlein

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home with his Lord Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Covenant Cooper in Saginaw; age 82 years.  Don was born on August 18, 1935 in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Marcus and Clara Woelzlein.   He was employed by Nuechterlein Electric and Grant's Appliance until his retirement.  Don was a lifelong member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church and a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League, St. Lorenz Men's Club and attended many bible classes.

Surviving Don are three brothers:  Wilmar (Louise) Woelzlein of Webster Groves, MO; Harry (Karen) Woelzlein of Phoenix, AZ; and Allen (Maxine) Woelzlein of Hutchinson, KS, and many nieces and nephews.

Don was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Woelzlein and Arnold Woelzlein.

Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St., Frankenmuth, Michigan and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.  Pastor Joel Kaiser will officiate with burial between services in St. Lorenz Cemetery.  Don's family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.
