Doris Ann (Lambert) Brief of Frankenmuth, MI was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was known for her kindness, generosity, and love. She left this earthly life and went home to her Lord surrounded by family on March 6, 2025 at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility.
Doris Ann was born on May 8,1940 to parents Orville and Thelma (McNiel) Lambert. She is a Marlette high school graduate, class of 1958. She was united in marriage to Ronald F. Brief on January 23, 1960, in Marlette. They were the proud parents of Ronald W. and Roger.
Doris Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and was always eager to gather around the campfire reminiscing about the past or to share a good cup of tea. Her love for her cats and dogs never went unnoticed. She loved to brag about her great-grandchildren and would tell anyone who would listen about her great-grand boys that play hockey or her great-grand girls who draw and paint.
Left to cherish her memory is her son, Ronald W (Mary) Brief of Kingston; three grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brandt) LaPouttre of Essexville, and her family; great grandchildren Brandt and James, bonus grandchildren Linzi (Dakota) Jenkins and Rayna; Jonathan (Chelsey) Brief of Frankenmuth and his family; great grandson Connar; Kristina (Ryan Boyd) Brief of Sandusky and her family; great granddaughters Alayna and Lola.
Her dear first cousin who was just like her sister, Mary Lou (Gerry) Monroe of Burton; sisters-in-laws Sharon Brandibur of Kingston, Toots Lambert of Marlette, Beverly Brief of Albion; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Doris Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ron of 53 years; son Roger; her parents Orville and Thelma, brothers Wayne and Deneen Lambert; father and mother-in-law Floyd and Nellie Brief; brothers-in-laws James Brief and James Brandibur.
Special thanks to the multitude of staff at the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility for their care, compassion, and friendships during the past 2 years.
The family will receive visitors from 3-8 PM on Sunday, March 9, 2025, and from 10-11 AM on Monday, March 10, 2025 at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Marlette with Pastor Timothy Kern officiating. Burial will take place in Spring.
Memorials in her honor may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Marlette or Pet Angel Cat Adoption and Rescue, Frankenmuth.
