Beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Dorothy died peacefully in her sleep at a nursing home in Clearwater, FL.

Dorothy was confirmed at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church on March 21, 1948. She loved to travel, LOVED the birthday club, and loved her Trawler. She retired on August 1, 1993 from Frankenmuth Insurance.

She was predeceased by her parents Agness and Berthold Brenner and her two sisters Ruth Harris and Norma Tanner.

She leaves her four nieces: Sue Rummel, Lansing; Rosy Griffiths, Odessa, FL; Peggy Reid, Palm Harbor, FL and Chris Jablonski, Palm Harbor. She has many great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 13, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Dorothy’s family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.
