DuWayne C. Gremel

DuWayne C. Gremel, age 90, of Frankenmuth, Michigan went home with his Lord on Monday, February 20, 2023 at Edgewood Assisted Living Center in Saginaw. DuWayne was born on December 5, 1932, the only son of Otto and Eldine Gremel.

DuWayne graduated from Sebewaing High School in June of 1951. He served four years in the United States Air Force Weather Service. DuWayne graduated from Michigan State University in 1960 and was employed as an Auditor and Computer Programmer until his retirement at age 61 in 1994. His hobbies were studying calculus and jumping horses over fences. His parents and sister Kathleen preceded him in death. He is survived by several cousins.

Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola St. Frankenmuth, Michigan. Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate. DuWayne's family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will take place in St. Lorenz Lutheran Church Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church Social Ministry Fund. DuWayne's family would like to thank the staff at Edgewood Assisted Living and Careline Hospice for the wonderful care he received.
