Eleanor L. Demsich

Frankenmuth, MI formerly of Detroit, Michigan

Passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019, at her home with family by her side after a lengthy illness; age 89 years.  Eleanor Kurlinski was born on April 5, 1930 in Massillon, OH to the late John and Louise Kurlinski. She was married to Marcus Demsich on May 13, 1950, he survives her. Eleanor was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Frankenmuth, MI. She enjoyed volunteering around the community especially with the HUGS program.

Surviving besides her husband Marcus are: 3 children Norman (Angela) Demsich of Frankenmuth, MI, Susan (Gary) Hiltz of Sterling Heights, MI, Laura Senkowski of Houghton Lake, MI; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Eleanor was preceded in death by a daughter Diana Dittman.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 27, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan.  Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial to take place at a later date in Great Lakes National Cemetery Holly, MI.  Eleanor's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  There will be a Prayer Service on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
