Estelle V. Nash

Estelle V. Nash of Frankenmuth passed away on Sunday July 10, 2022 at the age of 93.  She peacefully passed at Covenant Heath Care Saginaw with family by her side.

Estelle Nash was born June 3, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan.  A highlight in her life was interviewing Louis Armstrong in high school.  She attended Wayne State University.  When younger she worked for a credit bureau and modeled for Crowley's in historic downtown Detroit.  She later worked and retired from Southern Michigan News. Estelle lovingly raised her family and lived in Frankenmuth for over fifty years. In retirement Estelle traveled worldwide.  Estelle's hobbies included oil landscape painting and collecting Irish Belleek and orchids.

Preceded in death is Estelle's husband of 73 years Richard A. Nash, her son Kenneth G. Nash, brother Dr. Edward D. Bober, and son-in-law Joachim Oehrlein.  Surviving Estelle is her daughter Linda C. (Oehrlein), son Richard P. (Rick), daughters-in-law Carol (Lloyd: Rick's wife) and Mary (Vigiletti: Ken's wife) and grandson Paul (Ken and Mary's son).

Respecting Estelle's wishes there will be a private family burial.  Her remains are to be interred at Roselawn Cemetery in Saginaw.  Anyone wishing to pay their respects to Estelle is encouraged to do so by donating to the Humane Society of Saginaw County https://humanesocietyofsaginawcounty.org/Donations .
