Eugene A. Reinbold

Saginaw, MI

Passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Covenant Glen after a lengthy illness; age 82 years.  Eugene was born on December 13, 1941 in Saginaw, MI to the late Arnold and Vita Reinbold. He was married to the former Nancy Krumnauer in Reese, MI on April 24, 1965; she survives him.

Eugene was employed by General Motors for 30 years and also was a lifelong farmer. He was also employed at Farmers Mutual Hail, volunteered in the Blumfield Township Fire Department, and was in the Frankentrost Band for 40 years. Eugene was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Frankentrost.

Surviving besides his wife Nancy are: Kirk (Julie) Reinbold and their children Brooke, Travis and Garrett; Jay Reinbold – daughter Jaylin; sisters Shirley (Marvin) Schiefer of Flushing, Karen (Gary) Bower of Marlette and Carmen (Tom) Fehlhaber of Reese; and brother-in-law David (Sharon) Krumnauer of Grayling.

Eugene was preceded in death by one brother, Lester Reinbold, and an infant daughter in 1972.

Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI.  Rev. Mark Loest will officiate. Eugene's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
