Florence M. Schuler

Loving mother and grandmother passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018, at Wellspring Lutheran Services of Frankenmuth; age 86 years. Florence Beyer was born on November 9, 1931, in Saginaw, MI to the late John and Anna Beyer. She was married to Joseph Schuler Jr. on June 7, 1952, he predeceased her February 5, 1995. She graduated from Saginaw High in 1949 and was a bookkeeper at Saginaw Hardware. Florence was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Frankenmuth, Ladies Aid and the LWMS secretary card chairman. She enjoyed traveling, listening to music, the Detroit Tigers and baking.

Surviving are: 3 sons; Brian (Rhonda) Schuler of Frankenmuth, Brent (Kay) Schuler of Reese, Brady (Lori) Schuler of Frankenmuth, 7 grandchildren; Joshua (Yuko) Schuler, Rebecca (Richard) Myles, Jonathan Schuler, Justin Schuler, Krystle Schuler, Benjamin Schuler and Katy Schuler, 4 great-grandchildren; Amber, Heidie, Chloe Schuler, Emily Myles, 1 sister; Lois Frahm, 2 brothers; Howard Beyer and Gerald (Pat) Beyer and many nieces and nephews.

Florence was preceded in death by 1 son and 1 daughter-in-law; Bruce (Lenora) Schuler.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1200 E. Genesee, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Rev. Jeff Luplow will officiate with burial in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Florence's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
