Frances E. Hetzner

Birch Run, MI

Went to be with the Lord early Sunday May 3, 2020 at Ascension St. Mary's Hospital in Saginaw, MI after an unexpected battle with cancer; age 68 years. Frances Leichner was born on September 6, 1951 in Saginaw, MI to the late Dave and Frances Leichner. She was formerly married to Richard Hetzner; he survives her. Franny always believed in doing what you love for a living and followed that motto even beyond retirement. She spent the majority of her professional years working for the Frankenmuth Chamber of Commerce as office manager and at Amigo Mobility Intl, Inc. in VA Sales, Marketing, and Engineering, among others. Being a next door neighbor to Bronner's CHRISTmas Wonderland for 45 years and driving past it no matter where she went was too much to take, so after retirement she finally bit the bullet and joined for seasonal work. Her most recent passion was in the health and wellness industry as an at home representative for Juice Plus, for which she cared deeply and dedicated most of her time. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and sang in their choir. Grammy Franny loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and grandpup, Molly.

Surviving are: daughter, Alissa Hetzner of Auburn Hills, MI; son, Derrek (Kelly) Hetzner of Canton, MI; 3 grandchildren Brett Hetzner, Vivian Hetzner, and Claire Hetzner; cousins and many close friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions a private memorial service will take place at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church. Father Patrick Jankowiak will officiate.
