Frances A. Moore

Saginaw, MI

Passed away Saturday October 26, 2019; age 95 years.  Frances Vanderburg was born on July 21, 1924 in Saginaw, MI to the late Riendert and Catherine "Bailey" Vanderburg. She was married to George Sells he predeceased her. She later married Ernest J. Moore he predeceased her in 1997. Frances was employed by Saginaw Steering Gear for 30 years until her retirement. She was a member of UAW Local 699, Women's Bowling Congress for 30 years. Frances enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family, and going to the casino.

Surviving are 2 sons William (Anne) Sells of Saginaw, Steve (Lily) Sells of Bridgeport; 1 daughter Elizabeth (Brian) Collison of Saginaw, 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Frances was preceded in death by 1 daughter Margaret Hogan; 1 grandson William Sells II; 4 sisters Maxine, Josie, Nye, and Hellen.

Funeral services will take place on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. Chaplain Joe Beaty will officiate with burial to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Saginaw, Michigan.  Frances' family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
