Frank Lake

Frankenmuth, MI

Went home with his Lord on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at Covenant Medical Center Cooper; age 83 years. Frank was born on March 18, 1937 in Hemlock, MI to the late Hector and Thelma Lake. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. Frank was married to Phyllis on February 26, 1983; she survives him. Frank worked for GM until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, and American Legion Post 150. He loved traveling and wintering in Florida. Frank had a passion for boats and cars and enjoyed attending car shows, Frankenmuth Auto Fest being his favorite.

Surviving besides his devoted wife Phyllis are one son Mitchell Lake of St. Charles; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; twelve brothers and sisters; and many special friends.

Frank was preceded in death by three brothers.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions a memorial service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church of Frankenmuth. Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth.
