Gerald T. "Jerry" Daenzer

Saginaw, MI

Went to be with the Lord Monday, October 31, 2022 at Covenant Health Care Harrison; age 79 years.  Jerry was born on September 28, 1943 in Saginaw, MI to the late Theodore (Louise) Daenzer.  He was married to Judith Kosche at Immanuel Lutheran Church Frankentrost on May 7, 1966. She predeceased him on November 3, 2014. Jerry was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Frankentrost. Jerry was a mason contractor for 36 years. He was a past president of the Gera Old Tractor Club and he loved old Mopars.

Surviving are: 3 children Troy (Sandy) Daenzer of Frankentrost, MI, Kerry (Corey) Hamilton of Grand Rapids, MI, Brian Daenzer of Saginaw, MI; 8 grandchildren Trent, Brett and Amanda Daenzer, Lauren, Kaitlyn and Jordan Hubers, Julia Mayer, RanDee-Jo Hartman; sister Eileen (Gene) Ziegler; and brothers Chuck (Mary) Daenzer and Les (Karlyn) Daenzer; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will take place on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI.  Rev. Dan Wojtowicz will officiate. Committal service will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Cremation has taken place.  Jerry's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Monday from ­2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
