Gerald C. "Jerry" Seder

Birch Run, MI

Passed away Thursday July 23, 2020 at St. Mary's Ascension; age 81 years. Jerry Seder was born on February 13, 1939 in Saginaw, MI to the late Clark and Isabel Seder. He was married to Mary Ann Periard on February 25, 1961; she survives him. He honorably served in the U. S. Marine Corps. Jerry worked for Michigan Bell for 34 years until his retirement in 1994 and was a union officer in the CWA. He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Birch Run, MI. He served his community as a village council member and a volunteer firefighter for many years. Jerry loved spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and a passion for camping. He also enjoyed farming with Hugh and Lee.

Surviving besides his wife (Mary Ann) are: 3 daughters Julie (James) Boyer of Birch Run, MI, Tina Seder of St. Clair Shores, MI, and Karen Seder of Rochester, MI; 2 grandchildren Phillip (Alecs) Spotts and Allison (Michael) McLary; great-grandson Jack McLary.

Jerry was preceded in death by his sister Shirley Kobs.
