Gladys (Eischer) Ehrlinger

Gladys Meta (nee Eischer) Ehrlinger, age 90, of Frankenmuth, MI was called to her eternal home on October 26, 2018.  She was a devoted wife of the late Herbert Ehrlinger, loving mother of Bev Nugent (husband Clark), Marilyn Brondos (husband Joel), Larry Ehrlinger (wife Tracy), proud grandmother of Caleb Brondos (wife Meghan), Jason Brondos (wife Taylor), Kyle Ehrlinger, Andrew Brondos, Zack Ehrlinger (Autumn), Benjamin Brondos (fiance Melissa), Lucas Ehrlinger (fiance Rachel), and honored great-grandmother of Athan Brondos.

Gladys was born on April 17, 1928 in Frankenmuth, MI and baptized into Christ at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.   She was also confirmed at St. Lorenz in 1942 and remained a lifetime member.  She married Herbert on September 3, 1950.  She lived on her farm all the years of her life, raising her three children in the same home where she grew up.  Grandchildren enjoyed visiting Grandma on the farm.  Gladys enjoyed cooking, baking, and gardening for her family.  In recent years it was her joy to listen to Lutheran church services broadcast on TV.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:15 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. and 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church.  Rev. Mark Brandt will officiate with burial between services in St. Lorenz Lutheran Cemetery.  Gladys' family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Church Student Aid.
