Harold F. Schaeff

Went to be with the Lord Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at Bay Shores Senior and Rehab Center; age 80 years. Harold was born on April 16, 1940 in Saginaw, MI to the late Ernest and Anna Schaeff. Harold honorably served in the U.S Army. He was married to Bette Gugel on November 7, 1964, she survives him. Harold worked at Kendall Electric until his retirement. He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church Frankentrost and served in various capacities at church.

Surviving besides his wife are 2 sons Keith Schaeff of Frankentrost, MI, Kurt Schaeff of Reese, MI; 2 grandchildren Casey and Evan Schaeff; brothers and sisters Ernest (Arlene) Schaeff Jr., Wilmer (Marie) Schaeff, Loraine (Fred) Kueffner, Arlene (Gene) Stern; 2 sisters-in-law Marilyn Schaeff and Karen Gugel, and many nieces and nephews.

Harold was preceded in death by 2 brothers infant Arnold Schaeff and Hildred Schaeff, and brother-in-law Gerald Gugel.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, February 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI. Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Frankentrost. Harold's family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church Frankentrost or Valley Lutheran High School.
