Harry "Mata" Conzelmann

Frankenmuth, MI

Passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his home; age 62 years.  Harry "Mata" was born on May 10, 1955 to the late Fred Martin and Lorine Marie (Bernthal) Conzelmann.  He was baptized on June 5, 1955 and confirmed his faith on March 30, 1969 at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church where he was a lifelong member.  Harry was a FHS graduate where he was awarded medals in track, and led his football teammates as quarterback.  He also enjoyed playing golf and bowling, and was an avid Detroit Lions and Tigers fan.

Harry leaves his brothers Gary (Kathy) Conzelmann of Frankenmuth, MI, Dale "Lou" (Jan) Conzelmann of Ft. Myers, FL and his sister Jean Conzelmann of Spring Lake, MI.  Also surviving him are his nieces and nephews, Eric, Ryan (Kate), Karl (Noelle) Conzelmann, Amy (Christian) Lawrence, David (Ursula) Andrus, Kaitlin (Chris) Whitaker and Brooke Conzelmann, along with many grand-nieces and nephews, special cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, Harry was predeceased by his dear friend and sister Ann Marie in 1964.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, Rev. Shawn Fenske will officiate.  Mata's family will receive visitors at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.  Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Lorenz Lutheran Church or the Saginaw Rescue Mission.  Arrangements entrusted to Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth.
