Rev. Harry W. White

Birch Run, MI

Went home to be with the Lord October, 7, 2021, at Covenant Cooper Medical Center; age 86 years.  Harry was born on September 16, 1935 in Detroit, MI to the late Harry W. Sr. and Agnes White. He was married to Dorothy on August 22, 1959 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Houston, TX; she survives him. Rev. White served in seven congregations from Texas to Michigan as a pastor of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. He also served as the Circuit Counselor for northern Michigan. He enjoyed landscaping and gardening. Harry was an avid reader and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving besides his wife Dorothy of 62 years are, son Mark (Nancy) White of Kimball, MI; daughter Mary (Darren) Woodke of Gardiner, NY; grandchildren Megan, Mikayla White, Rochelle (Joe) Sibilia, Joshua (Krista) Woodke; great-grandchildren Max, Sam Sibilia, and Austin Woodke.

Harry was preceded in death by one son David.

Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola, Frankenmuth, Michigan. Dorothy's family will receive visitors on Tuesday, October 12th at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Frankenmuth, MI 48734 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
