Inez M. O'Brien

Inez passed away Friday, September 9, 2022, joining her husband Jerry whom she missed and talked about since his passing in 1996. She passed at McLaren Bay Region Medical Center; age 82 years. Inez Moleske was born in Saginaw, Mi on February 22, 1940 to the late Andrew and Irene Moleske. Inez married Jerry in 1960. She worked as a legal secretary for a few years until starting their family. Inez was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church.

She always touched everyone she met and loved to talk to anyone; waitresses, anyone with a pet, store clerks and others. She always set an example by helping others and had a big heart. She frequently would talk about her Gera neighbors and Bay City neighbors saying how special they were. Inez loved to have a good conversation over coffee or tea and had a strong dislike of gossip. Inez had a great love for all animals, especially her family's many pets.

She will be dearly missed by her three children Dr. Keith O'Brien of Caro, MI, Ann (Kim) Pavlik of Freeland, MI, Kenneth (Cheryl) O'Brien of Saginaw, MI; four grandchildren Brylee Pavlik, Kailee Pavlik, Caleb O'Brien, Jacob O'Brien; two sisters Irene (William) Dunn, Dr. Jeannette (David Criswell) Moleski; and many, many friends.

The family would like to thank the fabulous staff in the 4 East Wing in McLaren Hospital in Bay City, especially two of her nurses, Kayla and Kristi, as well as all of the other wonderful nurses, nursing assistants, doctors and staff.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 958 E. Tuscola Rd., Frankenmuth, Michigan. Fr. Patrick Jankowiak will officiate with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery in Saginaw. Inez's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. There will be a Prayer Service on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Inez always wanted to go to college so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made payable to the "Gerald and Inez O'Brien Scholarship Fund" held at the Saginaw Community Foundation.
