Irene Reinbold

Frankenmuth, MI

Went to be with her Lord Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Wellspring Lutheran Home; age 93 years.  Irene was born on October 23, 1925 in Frankenmuth, MI to the late Norman and Helen. She was married to Arthur Reinbold on July 1, 1950, he predeceased her November 5, 2002.

She leaves two sons and a daughter. Frederick (Cherie) Reinbold, Paul (Rosemarie) Reinbold and Sharon (Edmund) Schmitzer. Also 8 grandchildren: Jason (Tamra) Reinbold, Kelly Reinbold, Steven (Kandra) Reinbold, Aaron, Amber and Nathan Schmitzer, and Gregory and Brian Reinbold. Irene also leaves four great-grandchildren: Abigail and Derrick Reinbold and Rylee and Cohen Reinbold, a brother: Victor Loesel, a sister: Mildred (Arno) Rogner, and a sister-in-law: Anita Loesel. She also leaves three sister-in-laws: Vita, Selma, and Joanne Reinbold and many nieces and nephews.

Irene was preceded in death by three brothers: Frederick, Edward, and Roland Loesel, a sister-in-law Lorraine Loesel, three brother-in-laws: Arnold, Harold, and Otto Reinbold, also a sister-in-law: Viola (Elmer) Ruff.

Funeral services will take place on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 8220 Holland Rd., Frankentrost, MI.  Rev. Mark Loest will officiate with burial in St. John's Cemetery, Frankentrost.  Irene's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Monday at the church from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the charity of their choice.
